Travel Schedule:

1st day: Flight Edinburgh – Bari
Departure with Elena from Edinburgh Airport. At landing you will be
welcomed by our guide and our private transport driver, who will bring
us to the first bed and breakfast. Check-in, refreshment, short visit of
the old town and dining out with optional language class/aperitif and
evening activities.

2nd day:
Breakfast at the B&B, visit to Castello Svevo and Bari Cathedral, lunch
out. Afternoon transfer to Monopoli sea village, possible Italian cooking
class, B&B check-in, dining out and optional language class/aperitif
and evening activities

3rd day:
Breakfast at the B&B, day at the beach in a Monopoli beach resort.
Activities, siesta, visit to the town and dining out. Optional language
class/aperitif and evening activities

4th day:
Breakfast at the B&B, morning at the beach and transfer to Ostuni late
in the morning. Guided tour of Ostuni, B&B check-in, dining out and
optional language class/aperitif and evening activities

5th day
Day trip to Alberobello and Grotte di Castellana (optional). In the evening we could enter the city of Matera via an ancient pilgrimage route: the Sothern ‘Via Francigena’. B&B check-in inside Matera’s caves and dining out. Optional language class/aperitif and evening activities

6th day
after the previous day rich in activities, a relaxing day visiting Matera
with a tour guide. Optional language class/aperitif and evening
activities.

7th day
Day trip to the Alta Murgia National Park with scenic walking routes,
visit to Gravina di Puglia and Castel del Monte World Heritage Site.
Optional language class/aperitif and evening activities

8th day – Flight Bari – Edinburgh
Breakfast at the B&b, private transfer to Bari Airport and flight to Edinburgh.
